Before Pahri existed, I was just a girl shopping on Soho Road and Smethwick, trying on endless Indian outfits and not understanding why none of them felt right. If you're a Birmingham girly too, you already know the struggle of shopping there.
I'm heavier busted, and certain necklines just didn't suit me. I didn't know that until I tried them on. My sister is smaller busted, and she had the exact opposite problem to me. What worked on her didn't work on me, and neither of us understood why until we actually started paying attention to fit, not just design.
That experience is exactly what I built Pahri to fix.
The problem: you start to think something's wrong with you
When outfit after outfit doesn't sit right, whether it's a lehenga, a shararah, or a suit, it stops feeling like a fabric or design problem. It starts to feel personal. You start wondering if your body is the issue, if you're "hard to fit," if everyone else finds this easier than you do.
I promise you, you're not hard to fit. The outfit just wasn't made for you in the first place. Off the rack means one design, cut to one size chart, sold to thousands of different bodies. Of course it doesn't work for everyone. It was never built to.

Every piece we make, from bridesmaid lehengas to wedding guest shararahs, starts with you, not a rack of pre-made sizes. Regardless of your height, your weight, or your shape, I build the outfit around your measurements from the beginning.
If you're heavier busted and certain necklines have never worked for you, I get it, I've been there. We design around that. If you're on the smaller side and standard sizing swamps you, we design around that too. There's no compromise where you settle for "close enough."
I want every Pahri piece to feel like the moment you zip it up and it just sits perfectly on your body. No excess fabric, no pulling, no adjusting. Just an outfit that was clearly made for you.
